Humidification systems are automatic systems designed to spray water in the form of a mist uniformly and with total coverage of the greenhouse.
How to control humidity in your greenhouse?
The management of the various interacting environmental factors in a greenhouse often determines the success of a good crop. In this way we will:
Humidity Control Systems in greenhouses
Pan and Fan Cooling System
The Cooling system consists of a system of evaporative panels for cooling the greenhouse, improving the temperature and humidity levels in the different compartments.
How does the Pan&Fan Cooling system work?
The Cooling system works by renewing the interior air with the outside air, which has had its temperature reduced and its humidity increased by means of evaporation produced as it passes through a panel with cells of different inclination and position.
The system consists of pumping equipment that supplies the water to the top of the panel and distributes it evenly through a distribution duct. The water flows from top to bottom across the surface of the panel, with some of this water evaporating into the flow of dry outside air passing through the panel, the heat required for the evaporation of the water is taken from the air itself, so the air at the panel outlet is cooled and humidified without any external energy source.
The rest of the water washes the panel and is drained back to the pumping equipment tank via a collection system, where it is recirculated. This tank renews the lost water through a general filling channel.
The air thus treated evolves in the room from inlet to outlet, evacuating the heat load and providing the temperature and humidity conditions required by plants, animals and personnel.
Evaporative cooling system components:
Greenhouse Misting Systems
Fog System or High Pressure Fog System
High pressure fogging systems or Fog Systems are irrigation systems that expel water producing fine mist.
These increase humidity and achieve cooling in greenhouses and spaces that require greenhouses and spaces that need to obtain the maximum reach and the best performance of the spraying systems. These also offer the quality of a “dry” spraying.
The pressurized water exits through a small diameter orifice so that the jet crashes against a concave wall that discharges and distributes the mist in a nebulized form.
FOGGER or Low Pressure Humidification System
Low pressure misting systems are systems designed to increase humidity and achieve cooling in greenhouses at the lowest cost.
These systems are recommended to correct conditions of high water deficit during the early stages of the crops and to avoid excessive temperatures.

Control the temperature and humidity of your greenhouse
To improve the humidity and temperature conditions in greenhouses NOVAGRIC installs humidification and nebulization systems that will allow you to reduce the hydric and thermal stress of the plants in hot climates to improve the conditions of your crops.
